HSFA Fencing Training Programme

For Beginners

Anyone above 6 years can learn to fence including adults! Our Beginners program teaches the fundamentals of fencing and equips you to play the game with basic strategies.

Already a fencer?

Come play at our academies with a friend or coach. Take your fencing skills to the next level.

Advanced Competitive

HSFA will select fencers with proven winning records to help them further develop their skills through International training and professional guidance.

Fencing

The science of fencing

Fencing is a group of three related combat sports. The three disciplines in modern fencing are the foil, the épée, and the sabre; winning points are made through the contact with an opponent. A fourth discipline, singlestick, appeared in the 1904 Olympics but was dropped after that, and is not a part of modern fencing.
